Ripples Wokingham achieved the magnificent feat of reaching the KBB Review New Bathroom Showroom of the Year Award 2020.

The winners of the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards were announced at a gala ceremony at Liverpool’s iconic Anglican Cathedral on September 15 hosted by Joel Dommett.

The sold-out event saw designers, retailers, suppliers and KBB professionals gather to celebrate excellence in the industry.

The event kicked off with a drinks reception sponsored by Hettich and after the ceremony, celebrations continued at the Quooker Club – the after party venue sponsored by Quooker – which featured a Back to the 80s disco set hosted by musician and actor Martin Kemp.

Taylist Media managing editor Andrew Davies said: “The KBB industry has never needed the kbbreview Awards so much. It was good to see people enjoying the face-to-face contact that had been so sorely missed. Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to our sponsors for their generosity and support.”

Owners of the Ripples bathroom franchise in Wokingham Imran & Tehseen Azam were clearly delighted to have reached the final and celebrated with their two bathroom designers Alfie & Laura at the event. A smiling Imran left the evening with a promise to reach the final with every category next year; something that Ripples has been successful at in the past.

Ripples have won more KBB Review bathroom awards than any other retailer in the industry and that is testiment to the hard work and effort put in by our franchisees and their teams on a daily basis. Ripples managing director Paul Crow said “It is always a huge sense of pride seeing a franchisee and their team arrive at the awards night as I am honestly not sure they appreciate the scale of them. It really is a huge achievement to reach the final in such a large and competitive industry and I was delighted to see that they left with smiles on their faces and the determination to come back next year.”
