A collaboration built on design expertise
Rachel approached Ripples with a vision for a calm, elegant and modern sanctuary. Our London showroom designer brought that brief to life through a beautifully curated scheme featuring soft tones, architectural detailing and premium materials. The result is a standout bathroom that feels personal, luxurious and unmistakably “Ripples”.
About the bathroom
The project was conceived as a serene, yet boldly elegant retreat: a bathroom that balances calm texture with architectural drama. Working within the room’s compact ‘bijoux’ footprint, we placed a freestanding bath at the far end, framed by a custom arched wall niche that gives the space instant focal-point character. The palette centred on soft, plaster-like lime-wash walls which provide a peaceful backdrop, against which highly veined, book-matched marble-effect tiles sweep across both the vanity unit and niche, imbuing coherence and luxury. To balance the natural stone richness, we introduced brushed-brass brassware and fittings throughout - wall-mounted taps, bath mixer, door handles and accessories - lending a warm, tailored edge to the scheme. Textural detailing, such as fluted drawer fronts on the vanity unit and arched mirror, and a large shuttered window allowing ambient daylight to flood in, reinforce the spa-like feel. Every material and finish was chosen to reflect Rachel’s brief: timeless elegance with a modern edge, and a space that genuinely feels like a sanctuary to relax, reset and prepare for the day.
